Ruveka Store ("Ruveka", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency in all our digital operations. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, protect, and handle data when you visit our website, utilize creator storefronts, or access our affiliate redirection services.

This policy adheres strictly to the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 (India) and international standard privacy best practices.

2. Information We Collect

We process data across two main user categories:

• Creators (Account Holders): When creators register on Ruveka Store, we collect account information including name, email address, password hashes (managed via Google Firebase Authentication), optional social media handles (Instagram, YouTube), and storefront product links.
• Storefront Visitors & Shoppers: When a follower or buyer clicks a Ruveka micro-storefront link, we collect anonymized analytics data such as browser type, referring URL, time of visit, and specific product clicks. We do NOT store raw IP addresses or personally identifiable information of storefront visitors.

3. DPDP Act Compliance & Anonymized Analytics

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023:

• IP Anonymization: All incoming visitor IP addresses are immediately hashed using one-way cryptographic algorithms with rotated salt before any analytical aggregation is recorded. Raw IP addresses are purged instantly from operational memory.
• Purpose Limitation: Analytics counters (views and product clicks) are processed solely to inform creators about their reel performance and product popularity.
• Zero Selling of Data: We never monetize, sell, lease, or rent creator or visitor data to third-party data brokers.

4. Outbound Affiliate Links & Third-Party Merchants

Ruveka storefronts contain direct outbound links to authorized affiliate partner platforms including Amazon Associates, Flipkart Affiliate, Myntra, Ajio, and Meesho.

When you click a "Buy" button on a storefront, you are redirected directly to the respective merchant's official secure platform. Any purchase transactions, payments, delivery addresses, and payment details are managed entirely by that third-party platform under their respective Privacy Policies and Terms of Service. Ruveka never collects or stores credit card numbers, bank details, or home addresses.

5. Data Security & Storage

We employ robust industry-standard encryption, SSL/TLS transmission protocols, Firebase App Check anti-abuse mechanisms, and server-side rate limiting to prevent unauthorized access, data alteration, or malicious scraping.

6. Creator Rights & Account Deletion

Registered creators maintain full control over their account data and storefronts. Through the creator dashboard, you can:

• Edit or update storefront details, links, prices, and branding at any time.
• Permanently delete storefronts, which instantly purges the Firestore record, custom URL slug reservation, and Realtime Database click counters.
• Request full deletion of your creator profile by contacting our support team.
